-American supermarkets grown from other places ripen from ethelyn gas
-people confused by what foods are made of, and often hidden facts
-curtain dropped between the consumer and where the food comes from
-foods grown in “factory” style more than what some think of as a farm
-processed by huge multinational corporations
-animal and workers abused
-corps control entire system, deliberately hiding facts
-only allowing somethings to be told about the way food is processed
Kevin’s Law: passed to make US government prevent contaminated meat hitting the market
-require USDA to identify things that could threaten human health
-require USDA to make new standards
-require factories to respect USDA or close down
-never became law by the way, so the bill is out of books.
-the meat companies and FDA could not admit they were wrong
-Fast food, Mcdonalds, turned from restaurant to factory, new demands for meat made the way meat is produced different.
-Big fast food chains want big suppliers, controlling total food system

-labels are wrong, variety is distorted with only a few choices from major corps

-systems making alot of food on small land, at cheap prices: all the same

-chickens modified to carry more weight than they can handle

-Contract from big corps vandalize farms to cooperate with market
-changing farms and whole style to respect the corp’s evil plans
-Most food is actually corn modified to be anything
-cheap “filler” to make new items
-Food is engineered when we know how to modify to enhance taste and performance
-Animals fed corn because it’s a cheap way to make them full
-E-coli made when they feed corn
-if grass was fed, a natural acid would be created to defeat corn
-bad living conditions, living in poop, will carry germs

-people friendly with companies they should be closing down
-lots of leeway and respect from gov’t for these harmful behavior
-cheap manufacturing leads to cheap dollar meals
-fast food is less expensive than natural food
-people complain about expensive egg but not coke
-food system is given towards these large companies producing mass foods
-subsidized foods from corn, soybeans. Cheap stuff
-large corps taking good workers who won’t expose them
-arrests them after because of their identity as non immigrants
-infections and death: no one cares
-small companies being purchased by big companies so that they all use same format
-no alternatives for workers
-large companies sell seeds to farm
-government use them as patents
-new seeds must be purchased each time
-no seed saving to make new seeds
-seeds modified by company
-natural growth may be contaminated by neighboring farms
-eating well in this country costs more than eating bad
-eventually costs will be higher
